ISHI - Japanese for DETERMINATION. Some would say I am stubborn - others opinionated - but in reality it is determined. I believe it is determination that got me through the challenges I have faced and allowed me to start this new and wonderful life. I will stay determined and we will have as much fun as we can along the way. Read along for the wonderful adventure.

Noshville - the day after Thanksgiving
... no I did not mistype - let me explain.
We arrived in Nashville mid afternoon on Thanksgiving day and checked into our hotel in downtown. We decided to stay in the converted train station. It is a beautiful hotel with original wood, marble and stained glass - as you can see in the picture. We headed over to Lisa's for a wonderful dinner of Mama's turkey, sweet potatoes, dressing, homemade rolls and so much more.
Today we spent the morning exploring impressionists at the Frist and the afternoon Christmas trees at Cheekwood. For lunch - well that is where Noshville enters the picture. Laura took me there for the first time last year and now it is starting to feel like a tradition - a good tradition.
